Steving Meats proudly practices Humane Handling for each animal brought into our plant. As a USDA inspected plant we are accountable for producing safe food for our customers, and their customers. To receive Federal inspection, any USDA inspected establishment must apply for and receive an official Grant of Inspection. To obtain this, our establishment:
- Has written Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures;
- Conducts a hazard analysis;
- Develops and validates a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Plan; and
- Agree to abide by all FSIS regulations.
